Help-Me-Network CSP seeks to appoint:
- One full-time ENTRY LEVEL Social worker
- One Registered Counsellor, for Contract = 12 months fixed-term contract.
We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for appointment potentially from 1 February 2022.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social work / Honours in Psychology
- Demonstrable experience as a facilitator and a counsellor
- Demonstrable experience of administrative skills
- Verbal, written and reading fluency in English and Afrikaans (isiXhosa an advantage)
- Computing skills including fluency with Microsoft Office, and the use of the internet
- Valid Driver’s License and own reliable transport
- Willingness to be flexible and assist with various tasks in the organization
- Ability to work well within a team
In addition to the above, the following would be advantageous:
- Demonstrable Motivational Interviewing skills
- Experience and comfort level working with youth and adults
- Previous exposure to working within the field of addiction
Responsibilities:
Handle case management
Ensure that the project operations are in compliance with TPA requirements.
Individual therapy sessions, conjoint and family intervention sessions.
Attend relevant meetings.
Facilitate adult and youth therapeutic group work and school interventions.
Assist with drug testing when needed.
Assist with Integrated motivational treatment model material development and implementation.
Assist with fundraising, marketing and policy development.
